Exhibition "Seeds for Life" Now at the Botanical Garden in Maribor

The outdoor exhibition, created as part of the LIFE FOR SEEDS project to inform passersby about project activities, has been relocated to the Botanical Garden in Maribor.

On 12 panels, visitors can learn about the biodiversity of meadows being restored within the project, discover typical plants of various habitats, and see how numerous wild pollinators contribute to this diversity. Special attention is given to meadow restoration using seed mixtures and one of the main project goals: collecting seeds of wild meadow plants for a seed bank.
Last year, the outdoor "Seeds for Life" exhibition was displayed in the park of Grad Castle in Goričko, then moved to the square in front of the multifunctional Volčin Center in Šalovci. From late autumn to the first rays of spring sunlight, the exhibition was set along the walking path to the Expano Experience Park in Murska Sobota.
Now, the exhibition has been relocated to the Botanical Garden in Maribor, where it will continue to raise awareness about the importance of meadows, their biodiversity, and the importance of collecting seeds of wild plants for future generations.
